要重新获得资格,学生必须符合以下标准之一:
- 使用个人资金支付课程费用,直到他们达到总体满意的学术进步标准2.0的绩点, 累计完成率67%, 并且没有超过150%的资格长度要求.
- 如果学生因受伤或生病而未能满足SAP要求, 亲属死亡或者有其他特殊情形的, 这个学生可以上诉要求恢复经济援助. 如果被批准,学生将被置于试用期或学术计划状态.
上诉程序
学生只允许提交 两个上诉. 学术计划上诉将被视为第一次上诉. 目前被暂停经济援助的学生已经用尽了他们的SAP上诉选项. 没有资格获得经济援助的学生可以提出上诉. 上诉必须包括下列事项:
- 打印的个人陈述:
- Outlines the extenuating circumstances that prevented the student from meeting the Standards of 令人满意的 Academic Progress policy
- 说明为什么可以提高过去的学习成绩
- 解释所采取的纠正措施,并详细说明当前和未来学期的成功计划
- Acceptable documentation that relates to the specific semester(s) during which the student's academic performance was affected. 可接受的文件示例包括:

财政援助上诉委员会将审查上诉. 委员会的决定是最终决定. 学校将通过电子邮件通知学生最终决定. 决定的日期将在提交上诉时提供给学生. Appeal deadlines are established for each semester and a student may not appeal for a prior semester after that semester deadline has ended.

Federal and state regulations prohibit the awarding of financial assistance beyond 150 percent of the published program length.
